This year the Acle Open will be over two days, starting at 2.30pm on Saturday with 6 sessions, and Sunday from 9am with the final at 7pm in the evening.
Games are to be two seven-end sets and if required a third-end tie break, I think you all know the format by now same as the East Midlands Premier Bowls Open Circuit.
The prize money can yet not be confirmed as its still work in progress but we are hoping to get sponsorship for the event or funding from social/recreation centre but all entrance fees will be put back into the pot.
The draw will be held at the club in December.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time of your first match as play will be continuous (as soon as your rink is free play will commence)...this should help save time and mean we can start the final before 7.30pm.
We will redraw for the 8 with rinks, it will simply be luck of the draw if you have already played on that rink (impossible to avoid).
