This is the second year of the Acle U18 Open Singles Championship.and we hope that all players taking part enjoy the facilities at Acle Indoor Bowls.
This is a singles competition with 4 woods for the Acle Open Under 18’s Singles Trophy with prize money for the first four places. The top two players in each league and the best 4 runners up will go forward to the quarter finals. The first three rounds are played as a round robin with a draw for the first knock out round being made when the qualifiers are known.
The prize money is £100 for the winner, £50 for secound place and £25 each for third and fourth.
The umpire for the day is Mick Harvey.
Markers are coaches and senior players from the club.
Food is available from the social club. For those needing early sustenance there will be bacon and sausage rolls available from 9am. There will be a selection of baguettes and hot food from the bar. The junior club recommends the cheesy chips!! There is a hot drinks machine, cans, fruit juice and snacks available from the desk as well as drinks from the bar during opening times.
